The movie is sent to the theater in a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) which is a fancy name for a USB hard disk drive. The data is transferred from the hard disk to the theater's server. A KDM (encyption key) is required to play the movie. It is deliverved via a separate flash drive, CD, or Email. It is valid for two weeks. The movie format is JPEG.
