Are large hoofed animals like Moose, Elk, Deer or Caribou rideable?
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm curious.
I do not know of any culture that rides them. Deer would probably be too small to hold a rider, and a moose would be too hard to control. They do have domestic Caribou (called reindeer) that they use to pull sleds in Lapland and other cold regions of the world.
