Throughout his career, Jay Strongwater's love of the bejeweled object-whether it's meant to rest on a tabletop or the graceful curve of a woman's neck- has led him on a journey through the world of home furnishings. In essence, Strongwater created his own niche. "I'm fascinated by the idea of taking our everyday belongings; frames, boxes, clocks; and turning them into a beautiful college of metal, enamel, and crystals."
The roots of the Beatriz Ball Collection began in 1991. The pieces are made entirely by hand, one at a time, using the ancient art of sand casting: pouring a premium quality alloy of molten aluminum into sand molds, and then going through four levels of polishing. Each piece speaks for itself, unfolding a story of the creativity of the artists who designed it and the skill of the craftsmen who manufactured it.
Annieglass, handcrafted glass tableware and decorative accessories, is the unique vision of artist Ann Morhauser of Santa Cruz, California. The very modern plate ornamented with gold or platinum was augmented by a series of marvelously free-form patterns that referenced her Santa Cruz habitat, its mountains, forests, coastline and ocean. Continually entranced by her environment, Annie coined a new term for her distinctive style, "California natural."

The paint that Jay Strongwater uses, where can I buy that from? Is there a product out there that can do the same thing after you fire it in a kiln? I'm thinking it is enamel or lacquer, but there is no information out there on this kind of paint. A good answer gets 5 points! =)
